To Buy GPS Car Navigation- Or Not To Buy!!

Lately, it seems like GPS navigation systems are the latest trend. Everyone seems to have one. All the signs in electronic stores and all the billboards seems to say "BUY GPS CAR NAVIGATION"! I mean, when did we all stop being able to find our way places? Are road maps, street posts and signs, and street names not enough? Guess not.

Well anyway, there are many times where I wished I would have had a GPS system because there are times when all the street names and road maps really aren't enough! I would say GPS systems are definitely worth buying. Can you imagine how much time and frustration we would save ourselves if we never got lost!

I remember there was a time that the freeway was closed and that freeway was the only route I knew to get to this one destination. Then, I couldn't find where the designated "alternate route" was. So I ended up trying to take the streets all the way there and it was at least 10 miles away. I ended up in some desolate farm town and wound up making a complete circle! I finally made it to my destination but I ran out of gas on the way home because of all the gas I spent being LOST! So yea-go buy a GPS car navigation system because it's definitely worth it!!!

Best GPS For Auto Navigation--To Each His Own!

In order to determine which is the absolute best GPS for auto navigation, the decision has to be left up to the buyer. Everyone has something different that they are looking for or that they prefer, and everyone is working with a different budget.

To me, the best navigation system would be one that is affordable, gets me to my destination with ease, and is not too bulky to fit in my car. There is no "right one", they are all good products, all different, but all made to do the same thing.

My favorite though, is the Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS Receiver. It's compact so it doesn't take up that much room on the dashboard. You can travel with it because it just slips right into your purse or pouch when you need it but are not in your own car. It gives clear turn-by-turn directions that I can actually hear. It serves as a radio also, AND it's affordable when compared to other GPS navigation systems.

GPS Navigation Reviews-Useful or Not Useful

There are times when I knew I would never have been able to reach my destination had it not been for my handy GPS navigation system. However, extra gadgets in one's car isn't always received well. After reading several GPS navigation reviews, I learned that many of the products advertise a lot of specs like text-to-speech conversion abilities, Bluetooth phone interface, anemic media players, and built-in traffic receivers, however most of the time, we all just want to know how to get to our destination!

Because of those extra features, navigation system prices are hiked up. This is something important to consider because ordinarily there are other similar systems on the market that perform just as well, have less features, but also cost less money.

In my opinion, all of the other "special features" are not significant enough to pay more money for. There are plenty of GPS navigation systems that have large screens with large text, clear automatic voice directions, and dependable technology, that are all priced for under $300. It is all about what is more important to the buyer.
