After reading several GPS navigation reviews, I learned that many of the products advertise a lot of specs like text-to-speech conversion abilities, Bluetooth phone interface, anemic media players, and built-in traffic receivers, however most of the time, we all just want to know how to get to our destination!

Because of those extra features, navigation system prices are hiked up. This is something important to consider because ordinarily there are other similar systems on the market that perform just as well, have less features, but also cost less money.

In my opinion, all of the other "special features" are not significant enough to pay more money for. There are plenty of GPS navigation systems that have large screens with large text, clear automatic voice directions, and dependable technology, that are all priced for under $300. It is all about what is more important to the buyer.
